Say Communications founder Zirk van den Berg has worked professionally as a journalist (ten years at Die Burger), advertising copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi and BBDO in Cape Town, and corporate communications manager for Montana Wines in New Zealand from 2000 to 2006.
He is also a published novelist – in Afrikaans in South Africa and English in New Zealand, where NZ Herald named his South African crime novel Nobody Dies as one of the top five thrillers of 2004.
Capitalising on his extensive experience, Zirk started Say Communications in March 2006. He is also a co-director of online publisher Say Books (www.saybooksonline.com).
